Correspondents include his mother Annie Smith and his brother James Smith, both of New London, Connecticut, his New Jersey and New London cousins and nieces, former co-workers, and a girl in Washington, DC whom he was dating. There are also letters Frank wrote to his army buddies right after their discharge, letters he wrote to his mother, and letters written by family and friends to his mother Annie and his wife Anna W. Smith.
